Vintage Ostrich Leather Purse Brass Box 1960s LOU TAYLOR MIAMI

This wonderful vintage box purse from the 1960s, made by Lou Taylor, Miami, has a rectangular brass frame with panels of white ostrich leather on each sides--so marvelous and mod. The purse has a short brass handle and is lined in black grosgrain fabric, with accordion sides, a small pocket, and a black change purse attached with elastic. The inside of the purse frame is engraved Lou Taylor, Miami.

The purse is in good condition. The ostrich leather has no tears and one small flaw and is just a little dingy in a few spots. The inside lining looks very good, as does the change purse. The brass frame does have some scratches, particularly on the sides and bottom, and has some spots of discoloration where the finish has worn. It still a real stunner.
